Our team has extensive experience coring in coal, shale gas, minerals, oilsands and carbonates. We have been coring on different projects throughout Canada since 1997. We have worked on shallow oilsands projects (100 – 300m) and deep oilsands projects (up to 800m plus for VCI in the Birch Mountains). We have experience wireline coring to a depth of 2100m for shale gas in Quebec. Over the years the team has worked for most of the operators in the oilsands with great results. Having the right people for the job allows us to consistently provide a premium, efficient service to our clients.
All of our operators on the core units have at least held the position of Driller on a rig drilling in the region. Most of us have spent years drilling, pushing, and field supervising rigs. We can be a great asset on location for any situation that may be encountered. Several of our operators hold a valid Second Line ticket.
